It Takes This to Reach Your Goal

Posted by sharon on Sep 30, 2019

a coach and inspirational speaker who encourages others to achieve their  goals, I sometimes fail in setting aside time to reach my own benchmarks. Have you ever been there? Were you so busy making sure that your family, friends, or clients got what they needed that you failed to, well, do you?
Too often we (especially women) feel selfish if we put our dreams first. But, truthfully, we're in a
much better position to help others when we've maximized our potential for personal success.
Today, I'm making time for activities that bring me joy, and I'm seeing the benefits of prioritizing tasks and ideas that I feel drawn to. The change has led to finalizing a project that I've talked about for some time.
I am so excited that my first online course will be available on Monday, October 14! Inspire Others Through Your Story is a comprehensive 10-lesson course for beginning writers who want to share how God helped them through life's struggles. (See more information and the introductory video  by clicking on this website's "Online Courses" tab.)
The course has been a long time coming. To make room for this in my life, I had to say no to certain activities and obligations that might have benefited others. Still, I was determined to invest the necessary time and focus on doing my own thing. I believe the result will be a powerful tool for many.
Of course, I'm giving you this behind-the-scenes look into my business for a reason -- I already know that some of you can relate. You're pushing your own goals to the back burner, while tending to other people's priorities. Perhaps, now is the time for you to follow my example, to put your goal first, and to do what it takes to fulfill it!
